Located in one of Manchester’s most innovative buildings—recently named the best new build outside central London—the office reflects Avison Young’s ambition to lead by example. With their lease expiring, the firm sought to transform their new space into one of the coolest offices in their UK portfolio while achieving the highest environmental standards.

Office Transformation: Key Design Features
- Welcoming Client Lounge: Visitors are greeted by a branded moss wall and bespoke joinery, complemented by an Olive tree centrepiece. The lounge includes informal meeting areas, a brainstorm space, and a coffee bar, making it a hub for both visitors and employees.
- Modern Meeting Rooms: The office boasts a range of formal and informal meeting spaces, including a conference room with tiered bleacher seating and the latest audiovisual technology.
- Flexible Workspaces: Two-thirds of the office floor is dedicated to an open-plan layout, offering fixed desks, drop-in stations, quiet pods, and collaboration zones. Panoramic city views provide a bright, uplifting environment.
- Wellbeing and Inclusivity: A multi-faith room, relaxing wellbeing room, and reading nook offer spaces for mindfulness, prayer, and quiet reflection. Neurodiversity-friendly colours, indoor planting, and breakout areas with low lighting create an inclusive and comfortable atmosphere.
