AUTOCAB OFFICE TRANSFORMATION
Project Overview
ADT Workplace was awarded the project to transform the Uber-owned Autocab’s office space into a modern, dynamic environment. This office transformation marked a significant milestone, showcasing our commitment to delivering innovative and functional workspaces. The goal was to create a space that fosters collaboration, enhances productivity, and reflects Autocab’s brand identity.
Autocab, a leading provider of private hire and taxi booking software, sought to create a new headquarters that would not only reflect its innovative approach but also support its growing team. This project required a detailed understanding of Autocab’s operational needs and corporate culture, ensuring that the new space would be both functional and inspiring. Our Autocab project encompassed a substantial 20,000 sq.ft area and was completed within a 16-week timeline.
Design and Execution
The design phase focused on understanding Autocab’s needs and incorporating their brand elements into the workspace. We utilised vibrant colours and modern furniture to create an inviting atmosphere. The layout was designed to promote open communication and flexibility, essential for a tech-driven company like Autocab.
Key features of the office fit-out include:
- Open-plan work areas: These areas encourage collaboration and team interaction, essential for a collaborative workplace.
- Private meeting rooms: Equipped with advanced AV technology, these rooms support confidential discussions and virtual meetings.
- Breakout zones: These spaces offer employees a place to relax and recharge, enhancing overall well-being.
- Innovative technology integration: The office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to support Autocab’s operations, reflecting an innovative office design.
The use of open-plan work areas was particularly effective in fostering a sense of community and collaboration among the Autocab team. This layout, combined with the private meeting rooms, ensured that there were spaces for both collaborative and focused work. Breakout zones provided much-needed areas for relaxation, helping to boost employee morale and productivity.
