ADT Workplace has helped to create an inspiring new office for leading Manchester-based mobile technology company, Apadmi. Completed just prior to lockdown, the 12,500 sq.ft office is located in the Anchorage complex, an iconic development in the heart of Salford Quays, Manchester.

ADT Workplace carried out a comprehensive refurbishment of the building works at Anchorage late last year, before going on to complete the office design and build for Apadmi. Working closely with developer and asset manager Canmoor, as well as other partners, ADT Workplace helped to transform Anchorage into Grade A office space ranging from 2,500-33,336 sq.ft, boasting an atrium with co-working space and breakout areas, as well an exercise studio and café.

Following significant growth over the past two years, Apadmi selected the penthouse at the Anchorage 2 tower as its new national headquarters. The innovative company was looking for a dynamic and inspiring design for its new office, which would not only support the agency’s continued growth, but also improve collaboration, as well as help the business attract and retain the very best digital talent.

The dynamic space is very much reflective of Apadmi’s modern brand and ethos, with vibrant colourways and contemporary furniture and fixtures throughout. As well as dedicated open-plan work areas, spaces for collaboration and impromptu or formal meetings, the new workplace also incorporates unique solutions core to Apadmi’s business needs, such as a user testing lab, UX facilities and a space for events.

Commenting on the project, Richard Mansell, Head of Commercial at ADT Workplace: “We worked closely with the team at Apadmi to truly understand the business, meaning we were able to design a unique and intelligent space which is tailored the company’s needs and aspirations, as well as reflective of its modern brand. Designed to inspire innovation and creativity, we’re confident the new space will not only benefit the team but provide real business benefits as well.”
