This project’s driver was to centralise 1,300 Manchester staff into one location. To do this, BNY Mellon leased an extra 21,000 sq.ft on the 6th floor at One Piccadilly Gardens, adding to the 69,000 sq.ft it already occupied on the 1st, 2nd & 5th floors. The Cat A refurbishment involved a new lighting scheme, new ceiling tiles, new toilets and modifications to the existing HVAC system. The Cat B fit-out involved new glazed partitioning for meeting rooms, new floor coverings, decoration, breakout spaces and bespoke joinery. In total, ADT Workplace has refurbished five floors within the building.
