When flexible workspace provider Hana by Industrious chose to establish a premium office presence in Manchester, they selected Landmark — one of the city’s most prestigious buildings — as their new home.
Tailored Design to Suit a Premium, Flexible Workspace
Working closely with CBRE as project manager and MCM as architectural lead, our team transformed the shell space into a carefully considered, fully functional office. Every area was designed to support Hana’s flexible offering, blending private offices, collaboration areas, meeting rooms, and open-plan co-working zones to cater for different ways of working.
Crucially, the space also incorporated dedicated event areas and quiet focus zones, ensuring a balanced, adaptable environment for tenants. Throughout, the layout reflected the expectations of modern professionals seeking quality, convenience, and a sense of community in their workspaces.
Precision Delivery in Just 10 Weeks
The entire fit-out was delivered within a rapid 10-week programme — a timeline that required detailed planning and close coordination with all stakeholders. By managing our supply chain efficiently and maintaining an open line of communication with partners, we were able to complete the project on time, without compromising on quality or finish.

One of the standout features of this project was the combination of high-end aesthetics and practical workspace design. From the moment you step into the welcome area, it’s clear that Hana’s Manchester location offers more than just desks and chairs.
Acoustic treatments, feature ceilings, and bespoke joinery details helped create a visually impressive space that’s also functional and comfortable. Meanwhile, integrated technology ensures the workspace operates smoothly for both Hana’s team and its members.
