Along with Advanced Steel Services, we were incredibly proud to support Alan Halsall, Andy Whyment and Sam Aston (Corrie’s Tyrone, Kirk and Chesney) at their recent annual golf day, which this year raised an amazing £20,000 for Blossom’s Legacy.

Blossom’s Legacy is extremely close to our hearts following the tragic drowning of one of our employee’s children, Blossom Iris Kelly in August of 2016, when she was just 4 years old. In her memory, Blossom’s parents, Kris and Vicky, created Blossom’s Legacy, a charity set up to raise funds to educate, encourage and embody children with the skills to swim from a very early age. As well as providing essential lifesaving skills to children, giving them both the ability to float in water unaided and safety education in order to prevent them from entering water unassisted, the charity also provides CPR training to parents so they are equipped with the skills they need in an emergency situation.

All funds raised at the golf day will go towards building a bespoke pool facility where the charity can carry out its essential work of educating children with the vital lifesaving skills they need to stay safe in the water. Blossom’s Legacy is a small charity run by volunteers so this donation will make a huge difference and is truly appreciated. We would like to once again thank everyone involved for their generous support.
