HideOut Youth Zone (Manchester & Salford)
HideOut Youth Zone creates safe, supportive environments for young people across Greater Manchester, particularly in areas facing high levels of deprivation. Their work focuses on tackling isolation, youth unemployment, and poverty while helping young people build confidence and ambition.
ADT Workplace has developed a long-term partnership with HideOut, contributing in a number of meaningful ways:
Practical Support
We have donated office furniture and provided professional design expertise to enhance their Salford facility.
Volunteering
Our team regularly supports key initiatives such as the Holiday Club, Christmas Feast, and Back-to-School campaigns, engaging with young people through sport, creative activities, and mentoring.
Fundraising
- Sponsored the Manchester Ball, helping raise £52,000
- Completed a 15-mile sponsored walk, raising £6,000
Youth Opportunities
We hosted a Work Experience Evening and delivered 10 placements, giving young people valuable insight into professional environments and career pathways.
Festive Giving
We supported the Secret Santa appeal to ensure gifts reached young people who may otherwise go without.
This partnership continues to deliver real impact, from increased confidence and career exposure for young people to vital funding that supports HideOut’s annual operations. Our team is proud to contribute time, expertise, and resources to help create brighter futures.
Blossom’s Legacy (Liverpool)
Blossom’s Legacy holds a deeply personal connection for ADT Workplace. Founded by one of our colleagues following the tragic loss of his young daughter, the charity is dedicated to preventing similar accidents through early water-safety education.
The organisation provides a week of swimming lessons for children under five, teaching essential life-saving skills such as floating and basic water confidence.
Our support includes:
- Raising over £25,000 through company fundraisers, sponsored challenges, and colleague-led initiatives
- Actively promoting awareness to help more families access vital early swimming education
Through this partnership, we are helping to equip young children with skills that can truly save lives.
