Introduction
Interactive Investor, the UK’s leading flat-fee investment platform, appointed ADT Workplace to design and deliver its new Leeds office at Aire Park.
The move followed the successful completion of the previous Leeds workspace at One Embankment, also delivered by ADT Workplace.
With the earlier lease reaching its end, the new 23,562 sq ft office presented an opportunity to evolve the client’s workplace vision—supporting growth, hybrid collaboration and a stronger sense of connection between teams.
Project Brief & Delivery
The brief called for a single-floor, open and flexible workspace that would unite the Leeds team in one location and express Interactive Investor’s dynamic culture.
Building on the insights gained from the One Embankment project, ADT Workplace had a clear understanding of the client’s operational rhythms and design preferences. This knowledge guided every stage of the new fit-out.
The layout accommodates more than 260 desks arranged in neighbourhoods supported by agile drop-in zones, encouraging collaboration and flexibility.
A balanced mix of small, medium and large meeting rooms serves a range of working styles, while a spacious breakout area and games room support informal gatherings and team wellbeing.
A secondary teapoint provides convenient access for teams across the floorplate.
Soft-seating areas and breakout spaces were positioned to capture scenic views across Aire Park, enhancing wellbeing through natural light and greenery.
Clear sightlines across the atrium maintain openness and team connectivity, while gentle zoning subtly defines each working neighbourhood.
Building on a Proven Partnership
Having previously delivered the One Embankment office, ADT Workplace’s partnership with Interactive Investor was built on trust and collaboration.
The new workspace at Aire Park was conceived as a natural evolution—refining the company’s design language while introducing new levels of efficiency, flexibility and brand expression.
This continuity allowed for faster decision-making and seamless project delivery under a negotiated design & build route.

Challenges & Solutions
Relocating existing furniture and fittings from the previous site presented both opportunity and challenge.
ADT Workplace carried out a full audit to assess suitability, ensuring key items such as storage units, acoustic baffles and lighting were successfully reused.
This approach reduced waste, supported sustainability, and maintained aesthetic consistency throughout the space.
Interactive Investor’s established hybrid and neighbourhood model remained in place, but ADT Workplace fine-tuned the layout to better support privacy and focus.
After move-in, acoustic enhancements were added to phone rooms to improve soundproofing, ensuring all areas met the client’s expectations for comfort and performance.

A defining feature of the new space is the reception area.
Two timber-slatted entrance booths engraved with the Interactive Investor logo create an immediate sense of identity.
The earthy, natural palette complements the surroundings of Aire Park, while soft textures and lighting make the arrival experience welcoming and professional.
Throughout the workspace, high-quality finishes, refined detailing and thoughtful material choices elevate both comfort and usability.
