Marketing and communications assistant

The role will cover the full marketing mix, including PR and social, digital marketing, events, and internal comms. We’re a small marketing team so this is a great opportunity for a marketing professional who enjoys a broad marketing role, to take the next step in their career and be part of our exciting future plans as we grow the team and our business.

You’ll create and deliver a wide range of engaging content to help us build our brand, increase awareness and support lead generation. You’ll also help edit and manage photography and graphic/video assets, as well as conduct market research to identify the target audience’s needs, competition, and trends to help in creating marketing strategies and plans.

Skills/qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar marketing, PR or communications role
  • Degree or similar professional marketing qualification beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and well organised – ability to work on multiple projects with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Positive and proactive – glass half-full attitude, self-motivated with great initiative
  • Responsible and a good team player – willing to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in!
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • An understanding and experience of SEO and PPC, and Google Analytics is desirable but not essential
  • Basic design skills are desirable but willingness to learn is essential
  • Driven to keep self-developing and following the latest technologies
