Graduate / Junior Interior Designer

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic graduate or junior interior designer looking for your next challenge in creative commercial interiors? If so, we’re hiring and would love to hear from you!

You will be based out of our Manchester HQ and be a part of our dynamic, fun and creative team, who design inspiring office spaces for some of the country’s most exciting companies. Requirements:

• Degree level qualification in Interior Design / Interior Architecture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketch-up skills.
• Knowledge of In-Design, Photo-shop, and Microsoft Office.
• Recent graduate or 1-2 years’ experience.
• Have a passion for interiors.
• Strong communication skills.
• Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team .
• Excellent design flair.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines, under pressure.
• Full driver’s license essential.
• Salary depending on experience.

Duties:

• Working alongside and be mentored by our lead creative team on Design & Build negotiated and pitch bids.
• Help to prepare design briefs and design proposals alongside the wider bid team.
• Manage and keep up to date the design library, meet with suppliers and take an active role in product development, seminars / webinars, showroom events / visits.
• Gain understanding and interpreting design briefs into thought out space planning and conceptual design proposals.
• Conceptual designs using AUTOCAD and sketch-up also working alongside our Creative and Visualisation teams.
• Attending client design meetings, site meetings.

Commercial Creative Interior Designer

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic commercial interior designer looking for your next challenge? If so, we’re hiring and would love to hear from you!

You’ll be based at our Manchester HQ and be a part of our dynamic, fun and creative team, who enjoy designing inspiring office spaces for some of the country’s most exciting companies. You can take a look at some of our recent projects here

Your day-to-day job would include:

  • Working alongside the wider team on design and build negotiated, and pitch bids
  • Preparation of design briefs and design proposals alongside the wider bid team
  • Understanding and interpreting design briefs into thought out space planning and conceptual design proposals
  • Conceptual designs using AUDOCAD and sketch-up, also working alongside our Visualisation team
  • Working independently on projects as well as working alongside a lead designer / director and the wider team on major bids, to help meet deadlines
  • Taking an active role in product development, seminars / webinars, showroom events / visits
  • Working with the wider design team to manage and keep the design library up-to-date
  • Meeting with suppliers
  • Attending client design meetings, site meetings

To apply, you’ll need:

  • 5+ years industry experience
  • Degree level qualification in Interior Design / Interior Architecture
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Excellent Sketch-up skills
  • In-depth knowledge of In-Design, Photo-shop, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in design and build (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • To enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent space-planning and design flair
  • Good understanding of commercial workplace design
  • Good knowledge of industry trends, products, and FF&E
  • The ability to interoperate a client brief and aspirations
  • The ability to design to budget
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines, under pressure and on several projects at the same time
  • A full driver’s license (essential)
