We are delighted to announce that as of June 2021, ADT Workplace is 100% employee owned, marking the start of an exciting new chapter in the history of our company. Every member of our team is now a beneficiary of a new Employee Ownership Trust – We are ADT Limited – which owns ADT Workplace Limited on behalf of all employees now and in the future.
The change to employee ownership demonstrates our commitment to creating a vibrant future for the company and our people, and continuing the success of the business that we all take such pride in. This business structure has a proven track record in creating long term growth and security, and gives employees a real role in determining and sharing in the future success of the business.
Over 50% of our people have been with us for more than five years and 25% for over 10 years, which is a testament to who we are and the people within the business. Our new structure will allow everyone to benefit from their commitment, by giving them a financial stake in the company, but also a personal stake and a voice in how the business is run.
What does this mean for our clients?
For our clients, this won’t change how we work with you, and you can be confident that our business will retain its culture and personal touch. The management team will continue to lead the company as before and you can expect to receive the same industry-leading quality and service ADT Workplace is known for.
The Employee Owned Trust – We are ADT Limited – will be run by a board of trustees. Their role will not be to manage the company but to ensure that the company is being well led and in a way which maximises employee engagement and commitment. This in turn will benefit our clients.
Moving forward, David Clemetson will remain as a Board Director of the business. Our current Commercial Director, Richard Mansell, and Operations Director, Jeremy Cox, will both step up as new Board Directors, and continue to support David in leading the day-day-day running of the company.
